Make a Difference in Our Community Today!

Many families in this area live in substandard housing. Habitat for Humanity of Walworth County provides affordable housing for some of these families, but needs your help to keep building safe, decent homes with these families.

  • Sponsor Materials for Homes: Sponsor or donate nails, doors, windows, flooring, foundations, framing, paint, plywood, roofing materials, etc.  Click here to see how a financial gift can help a family in need.
  • Donate Stock: You or your company can donate stock or other investments to Habitat for Humanity. For donations of stock, please contact Teresa McKeown, executive director, at 262-949-0542 to assist with your stock donation.
  • Donate In Honor of: A contribution to our affiliate is a thoughtful gesture for a memorial or honorary gift. Acknowledgements are sent to the recipient of your gift. Honorary gifts make great holiday and birthday gifts, too! 
  • Land Donation: Habitat needs land on which to build our homes. To discuss property donations contact Teresa McKeown, executive director, at 262-949-0542.
A financial gift will provide a family with the following parts of their new home: 
  •     $25 - Roll of Wall Insulation - To keep warm and cozy 
  •     $50 - Interior Door - To do homework in the quiet of their own room 
  •     $75 - Window - To let light and fresh air in 
  •   $100 - Water Heater - For children to play in a warm bubble bath 
  •   $200 - Front Door - Providing security for the whole family 
  •   $300 - Landscape - Green grass to play childhood games 
  •   $500 - Interior Paint - Warm colors to brighten rooms 
  • $1000 - Cabinets - For after-school snacks and dinner dishes 
  • $1200 - Vinyl Flooring and Carpet - For comfort under foot
  • $1500 - Exterior Siding - The finishing touch 
  • $2500 - Sheetrock - A place for family photos
  • $3000 - Wall Studs - For a safe and sturdy home  
  • $4000 - Excavation and Slab - Foundation to build a home from
  • $5000 - Roof Trusses and Shingles - Protection from the elements
